A new name has emerged for Tennessee as a potential fit at tight end. According to 247Sports, Josh Heupel and tight ends coach Alec Abeln will travel to Kentucky on Monday to visit with former Kentucky Wildcat Jordan Dingle, who entered the transfer portal last week.
Originally from Bowling Green, Dingle was a three-star prospect in the class of 2021. He chose Kentucky over offers from Purdue, Ohio State, Arkansas, Louisville, Missouri, South Carolina, and several others.
Dingle took a step backward production-wise as he battled injuries in 2023. Back in 2022, Dingle caught 20 passes for 220 yards and three scores.
